Description
2-Ethylbutyl L-alaninate is a precursor to the synthesis of Remdesivir which was developed by Gilead Sciences. Remdesivir is nucleoside prodrug that metabolizes into its active form GS-441524 which can cause a decrease in viral RNA production. It is used in the treatment of Ebola and COVID-19.
